Attention all lovers of work/sport with dogs!
Association “Search and Rescue Dogs – Bulgaria”, under the umbrella of BNFC, is organizing for the first time in Bulgaria a two-day workshop on search and rescue with dogs for people buried under the rubble of destroyed buildings!
The leading instructor of the workshop will be Roman Starman from Slovenia – IRO World Champion in the discipline of search and rescue of lost people in the wild, and numerous prize winner from other international competitions in search and rescue with dogs. In addition, Roman Starman has large practical experience from real rescue missions – in 2009 he participated in the search for buried people under the rubble of the destroyed buildings from the earthquake in Sumatra, and in 2023 he participated in the rescue activities during the devastating earthquake in Turkey.
The workshop will be held in Montana, Bulgaria on June 27-28. 2024.
The main language of the seminar will be English.
The participation fee is EUR 150/or BGN 300 for one handler with one dog.
Registration – it is necessary to fill out the registration form for participation in the seminar (https://forms.gle/Zh5suAUHuRjeBXPC7 ), after that a deposit of 50 euros/100 BGN must be transferred to the account of the Association “Search and Rescue Dogs – Bulgaria” – BG74STSA93000030565592. After completing the registration and deposit transfer, you will receive a reply by e-mail. The rest of the workshop fee can be transferred to the same account or paid in cash on the spot.
If you wish, the “Gelov” hotel in the town of Berkovitsa, reserved by the organizers of the event, can be used for accommodation. At the Gelov Hotel, accommodation in a double room is BGN 30 + breakfast, a night in a single room is BGN 50 + breakfast. Dogs are welcome in the hotel!!!
After the end of the seminar, for two days – 29-30. 06.2024, an exam for search and rescue with dogs in rubble will be conducted – IPO-R RH T-V and IPO-R RH T-A.

The fee for participating in the exam is EUR 30 / BGN 60.
